The first week of July turned in to mornings of “projects” and afternoons at the pool. I actually took some of my Pinterest pins and turned them into reality!
The second week of July, the girls headed to “Granny Camp” while I headed to san Antonio for CAMT (math conference). Granny Camp is the highlight of the summer for my girls…probably b/c they are spoiled rotten! Granny took them swimming and to the Children’s Museum in Lake Charles. Papa took Maddie with him to pick up their new camper. They ate watermelon out of the garden. Who wouldn’t want to go to Camp Granny?!
During Week 3, Anna went to VBS at Hillcrest with her friend Bekah, while Maddie and I packed for our vacation to Florida. During that week, Granny and Papa came up to Rayburn to try out their new camper and the girls spent the night with them. Apparently, Papa was not winning the game of Aggravation!
Week 4…FLORIDA. My favorite week of the whole summer! This year there were no hurricanes and no trips to the ER. Success. My sister Emily brought 4 of her kids this year, so everyone had a friend to play with…so much fun!
How cute are these shirts Granny made?! And where did my babies go?!
After being home from Florida for 2 days, we loaded back up and headed to Galveston with Granny. We took the girls to Rainforest Café’, swam at the hotel, checked out The Strand, and went to Moody Gardens…all in about a day and a half!
A seagull pooped in Anna’s hair…she thought it was HILARIOUS!
