It almost hurts my heart to type the word “August”. Don’t get me wrong-I love being a teacher and truly believe it is what I have been called to do. However, no matter how much I love back to school shopping and getting back into a routine, I do not love saying good-bye to my lazy summer days. Ready or not, here school comes in only 4 short days!
On August 2nd, Great Grandma Worsham went Home to Heaven. I am so incredible thankful for the sweet time my girls and I had with her in June. We will always treasure the memories.
After the funeral, we went back to Aunt Alicia & Uncle Terry’s house for some family fellowship. It is never a dull moment when these cousins get together!
Last week, Maddie had SMAK {Summer Music Activities for Kids} at church. This week is something she looks forward to every summer. Anna is beyond excited that next year she will FINALLY be big enough to participate. Maddie had the part of “Caitlin” at Camp Heart & Soul. All the kids did amazing! We are so appreciative of the time and energy Bro. Woody & Mrs. Kathleen give each year during this week.
We are going to try to head to Paradise Waterpark later this week as our last super fun day of the summer. And then it’s Back To School!
