I’ve decided that when I wrote “start a blog” on my summer to-do list, I really should have written “start and maintain a blog!” Somehow I’ve turned around and June is gone. How did that happen?!
June was a super busy, but super fun month for the McKnight’s. The first two weeks were Swim Gym, which meant we spent our days going back and forth to swimming lessons-unfortunately the girls’ lessons were not at the same time! The next week we headed to Navarre Beach, Florida with my parents and my aunt. I have gone to Navarre Beach almost every year since I was about 3, and I love exposing my girls to some of my favorite childhood memories. The last week of June was spent doing laundry, cleaning the house, hanging out at the pool and taking a trip to Sports Connection with the kids from church.
We spent July 4th weekend in Shreveport with Ryan’s family, celebrating his grandma’s 90th birthday. The girls loved getting to spend time with their cousins and we had a great time getting skunked in the Worsham Family Minute to Win It competition!
Hopefully July will pass a little slower…I am definitely not ready for Back To School yet!
